Position Summary:
To support the financial operation of Springbrook’s Foundation in carrying out its mission and goals.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
To support the financial operation of Springbrook’s Foundation in carrying out its mission and goals.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, analyze and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with the monthly close process.
- Process/review documentation related to gifts/pledges, accounts payable, and investments.
- Grant management and tracking, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Respond to information requests, review financial statement activity, and assist with audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Support the Directors of Giving and Grants.
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business or related field required.
- Foundation accounting experience, preferably 3 or more years.
- Knowledge of foundation accounting principles, FASB preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mathematical and deductive reasoning.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Oracle NetSuite and Virtuous experience preferred.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and attention to detail a must.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
