Position Overview:
As a Salesperson at Lewis Auto Group, you will play a critical role in driving sales and building lasting relationships with our customers. You’ll be responsible for assisting clients in both English and Spanish, guiding them through the car-buying process from start to finish, and ensuring they receive an exceptional experience. Your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in both English and Spanish, helping them find the vehicle that best meets their needs.
- Provide detailed information on vehicle features, options, and pricing, ensuring customers understand their purchase options.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions to schedule test drives and follow up on leads.
- Negotiate deals and finalize sales agreements, always prioritizing the customer’s satisfaction and the dealership’s best interests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their experience with the dealership is positive and professional.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to vehicle delivery, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, dealership promotions, and industry trends to better serve customers.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments (e.g., finance, service) to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automobile sales or retail sales is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a commission-based sales environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate dealership management systems.
