Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform routine medical tasks such as taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately in medical records.
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering care to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their treatment.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, such as Cerner, to manage patient data efficiently.
- Support caregiving activities by providing assistance with daily living tasks for patients in nursing homes and hospice settings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical technology and practices related to anatomy knowledge to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in caregiving roles within hospital or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement techniques and the ability to accurately document findings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Cerner, is a plus.
- Understanding of dementia care principles and the ability to provide compassionate support to patients with cognitive impairments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
