OzarksFirst, the Nexstar Media broadcasting station in Springfield, MO is hiring a full-time Photographer to join our Daybreak news team. The morning photog works with a reporter / MMJ and collaborates on the best way to produce a story. The photog will also operate a TVU backpack for daily live shots. Candidates must also be able to independently gather news content.
Responsibilities :
- Ensures sound and picture quality of all video shot
- Works alone or with a reporter to shoot and edit for broadcast
- Drives and operates satellite SUV and van
- Maintains inventory of all assigned equipment
- Responsible for maintaining all assigned equipment
- Edit stories for newscasts
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements & Skills :
Physical Requirements : Dexterity to operate camera equipment.
