8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m
2nd Session
June 30 - July 18, 2025
8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
State Testing
June 23 - June 27, 2025
The Springfield City School District is seeking Paraprofessionals to assist teachers and intervention specialists with students during the Summer 2025 term.
Every Paraprofessional that is awarded a position will be required to attend in-service training and preparation days (two). Licensure must be current and in place for the 25-26 school year prior to June 30, 2025.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Working with students in one-to-one or small group settings
- Assisting with activities and projects
- Monitoring students
- Carrying out behavior modification programs
- Providing for feeding and toileting based on student needs
- Performing other health care activities as needed
Other IMPORTANT Information:
- Dates are subject to change based on the possibility of making up hours due to snow delays and closings.
- The number of positions available will be determined by student enrollment. A position could be offered and then withdrawn based on student enrollment.
- Paraprofessionals are not guaranteed placement in the school building of their choice or current assignment.
- Applications will be reviewing and job offers made by April 30,2025.
Salary will be current hourly rate, 5 days per week, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Not to exceed 80 hours.
All hours/rates are subject to Board approval.
