The Springfield City School District is seeking certified Intervention Specialists to help students in grade 9-12 earn credits and complete graduation requirements during the Summer 2025 term.
Every individual that is awarded a position will be required to attend in-service training and preparation days (two). Licensure must be current and in place for the 25-26 school year prior to June 30, 2025.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing standards-based instruction around core content areas as well as test preparation for the Ohio State Tests
- Collaborating with teachers, paraprofessional and related services to provide differentiated instruction to all students
- Providing feedback to Site Lead and parents about student progress
- Collaborating with team teachers
Other IMPORTANT Information:
- Dates are subject to change based on the possibility of making up hours due to snow delays and closings
- The number of positions available will be determined by student enrollment. A position could be offered and then withdrawn based on student enrollment
- Leads are not guaranteed placement in the school building of their choice or current assignment

Salary will be $30.00 per hour, 5 days per week, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Not to exceed 80 hours
All hours/rates are subject to Board approval.
