Who We Are:
The Springfield City School District, home to The John Legend Theatre, is seeking Summer Food Service (Seasonal Employee) for the 2024-2025 school year. We are a nationally ranked Division I District serving approximately 7,500 Pre-K through grade 12 students, in a vibrant learning community of 17 state of the art buildings in west-central Ohio. - Set up for lunch
- Servce lunches
- Assist tearing down after lunch
- Cleaning
- Driving to multiple sites
- Other duties as assigned
What We Offer:
Rate of pay is $15.00 per hour; Site supervisor is $17.00 per hour
Hours vary from 20 to 40 hours per week as assigned.
Work to be performed from June 2, 2025 through August 1, 2025.
These tasks involve fairly strenuous physical labor and are performed during the summer (insect/allergy, etc.) season. Appropriate dress is required. Attendance at safety training is mandatory. Daily attendance during work period is expected. Extended or frequent vacation absences will not be encouraged. Summer seasonal workers must meet all deadlines. The administration will select the applicants and determine their duties/assignments. SEUSS bargaining unit employees will be given first consideration. Selection by the administration for summer seasonal work requires application and interviews. Attendance and work performance of Summer Seasonal workers is subject to evaluation.
Salary : $15 - $17
