- Assist with pain management strategies and offer comfort measures to enhance patient well-being.
- Collect and process specimens accurately and in accordance with healthcare protocols.
- Use aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Provide dedicated care to toddlers, addressing their developmental needs and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Actively participate in case management activities to ensure effective coordination of patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, wellness practices, and preventive care.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in pain management techniques and strategies.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and clinical practices.
- Experience with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care for toddlers and understand their developmental needs.
- Skilled in specimen collection and processing.
- Competence in administering injections and other clinical procedures.
- Knowledge of case management principles in healthcare settings.
- Previous experience in a hospital or home care environment preferred.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
