The Fitness Center Attendant supports a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable workout experience for all members and guests. This individual provides excellent customer service and ensures the overall safety, upkeep, and cleanliness of the JCC Fitness Center.

- Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency situation
- Knowledge of of standard practices in gyms and fitness centers
- Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- High school diploma required. Wellness and recreation experience preferred.
- Must hold current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Must be 18 years or older

- Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (ACSM, ACE, AFFA, etc.) or specialty certification required
- Previous experience in teaching group fitness classes
- Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
