Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the outdoor areas of our property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are well-kept and visually appealing. Position is 40 hours per week from April 1 - September 30. Additional work is available outside of these dates, but hours will vary. Other temporary opportunities, such as substitute custodial, are available during the winter months.
Duties:
- Perform various grounds keeping tasks such as mowing (primary), trimming, edging, weeding, and pruning
- Irrigate lawns and garden beds as needed
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools for landscaping
- Keep walkways and parking areas clean and free of debris
- Assist with landscaping projects as directed
Experience:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
