Mixologist:
Position Overview: The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Mixologist to join our team for the upcoming season. As a key member of the stadium’s beverage service, the Mixologist will be responsible for preparing and serving cocktails and providing excellent customer service to our fans. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft cocktails, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails, beer, and other mixed drinks
- Ensure quality and consistency of all drinks served
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Process transactions on POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding alcohol service
- Be available for all home games during the season, including weekends and holidays from May 27-Aug 9
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mixologist, bartender, or similar role
- Knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage service
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests
- Illinois BASSET (Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training) certification required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Working Conditions:
- Hours will vary depending on team schedule, usually evenings
- Role will be performed in the stadiums bar area, with exposure to lively crowd and loud environments during games
- The position requires standing for extended periods of time
