On-Field MC:
Position Overview: The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and dynamic On-Field MC to help elevate the fan experience during home games. Being the face and voice of the team during in-game promotions, contest, and fan engagement activities the On-Field MC will be responsible for creating an exciting atmosphere, energizing the crowd, and ensuring fans have an unforgettable experience. The ideal candidate will be personable, quick on their feet, and comfortable speaking in front of large crowds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-field activities, fan engagement promotions, and contests during games
- Energizing the crowd and maintaining high energy throughout the game
- Represent the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Be available for all home games during the season, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an on-field MC, event host, or in a similar role
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage a large audience
- Outgoing personality with the ability to interact and connect with fans of all ages
- Ability to think on your feet, improvise, and handle unexpected situations with a positive attitude
- Comfortable speaking into a microphone and engaging with fans live on the field
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the team schedule
Working Conditions:
- Hours will vary depending on the team schedule (including weekends and holidays)
- Work will be performed on the field during games and events, mostly 5:30 - end of game from May 27-August 9th
- Requires physical activity, including walking around the stadium, interacting with fans, and being active for extended periods of time
