Public Address Announcer

Position Overview: The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Public Address Announcer to join our team for the upcoming season. The PA Announcer will play a key role in fan experience by delivering clear, energetic, and professional announcements during games. The ideal candidate will have a strong vocal presence and experience in live announcing. 

Key Responsibilities: 

-        Announce pregame promotions, sponsorships, and partnerships

-        Announce player introductions, starting lineups, in-game events, promotion, and other relevant information in a clear, professional, and engaging manner. 

-        Keep fans informed about the progress of the game, including scores, game events, and any updates from the field. 

-        Collaborate with game day staff to ensure smooth coordination of in-game activities and promotions

-        Adhere to all game scripts, but also remain flexible for live situations

Qualifications: 

-        Previous experience as a public address announcer, or similar role

-        Strong, clear, and engaging vocal skills

-        Attention to detail and the ability to follow scripts while adjusting in real time

-        Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team schedule

Working Conditions: 

-        Hours will vary depending on the team schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays 

-        Role is performed in a stadium setting, in the press box
