Job Details

  • Position / Specialty : MRI Tech
  • Shift : 4x10 Evenings (1300-2330)
  • Years of experience REQ : Minimum 2 years' experience required.
  • First-timers accepted : Yes.
  • Weekend REQ : Will work every 4th weekend or as needed.
  • Is on-call REQ? Yes- required as needed.
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
  • Locals accepted : Yes- no radius.
  • Pending License accepted : No- must have active license to apply.
  • RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.

    • Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience required.
  • Active state license required to apply.
  • Required Abdomen and Pelvis MRI Skills / Experience : Abdomen, Abdominal Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Abdominal Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Female Pelvis, Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), Male Pelvis.
  • Required Cardiovascular MRI Skills / Experience : MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff.
  • Required Chest MRI Skills / Experience : Chest.
  • Required Head and Neck CT Experience / Skills : Brain, Cranial Nerves, Face / soft tissue neck, Head Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Head Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Orbits.
  • Required Musculoskeletal MRI Skills / Experience : Foot, Hand, Hip / Bony pelvis, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Shoulder, Sternum, Temporomandibular joint with / without contrast, Upper extremity long bones.
  • Required Special Imaging Procedure Skills / Experience : CINE (Cerebrospinal fluid flow study), Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum intensity projection (MIP), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography (Iliac, runoff), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images.
  • Required Spine Case MRI Skills / Experience : Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum / coccyx, Spinal trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic Magnetic resonance angiography.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 4x10 Evenings (1300-2330)
  • Will work every 4th weekend or as needed.

  • RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Cerner experience required.
  • Level I Trauma experience preferred.

    • Additional Details

  • A legible copy of a valid / current US Driver’s license or US ID card is required.
  • Physical within a year of start. Labs must be complete / scheduled within 7 days of signing contract.
  • Background Check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived / worked in past 7 years, and updated annually.
