Job Details
Position / Specialty : IMC RN
Shift : 3x12 Nights (1845-0715)
Avg. Daily Census : 38
Years of experience REQ : Minimum 2 years' experience required
First-timers accepted : Yes
Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to like units as needed
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager
Locals accepted : Yes- no radius
Must have active IL license or be in application process with active ETA to apply
RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days
Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.
Job Requirements

Required Work Setting Experience : MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown
Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring
Required Cardiovascular Case Skills / Experience : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR band
Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills / Experience : Feeding tube care and management
Required Genitourinary / Renal Case Skills / Experience : Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure
Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy skills / experience : Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
Required Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac
Previous charge experience preferred
Cerner experience required
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Level I Trauma experience preferred

A legible copy of a valid / current US Driver’s license or US ID card
Candidate must review and sign within 7 days of signing contract
Physical within a year of start, and updated annually
Flu Vaccine or approved Medical / Religious Exemption required October 1 – April 1
