Job Details

  • Position / Specialty : OR Tech
  • Shift : 5x8 Days (0645-1515)
  • Avg. Daily Census : 50-60 cases / day.
  • Years of experience REQ : Minimum 3 years' experience required.
  • First-timers accepted : No.
  • Weekend REQ : Yes- Weekends are once a month with a total of 16 hours of obligation.
  • Is on-call REQ? Yes- required as needed for the department.
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float within scope of practice.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
  • Locals accepted : No- must live >

    • 50 miles from facility to apply.

    Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience required.
  • BLS required, CST preferred.
  • Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements.
  • Discuss RTO with manager - all time off must be reviewed and approved by manager.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 5x8 Days (0645-1515)

  • Is on-call REQ? Yes- required as needed for the department.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Required Work Setting Experience : General OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma.
  • Required Emergency management Skills / Experience : Fire Safety.

    • Additional Details

  • A legible copy of a valid / current US Driver’s license or US ID card is required.
  • Physical within a year of start, and updated annually. Labs must be complete / scheduled within 7 days of signing contract.
  • Flu Vaccine or approved Medical / Religious Exemption required October 1 – April 1.
