What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Operations Manager position at Springfield Mobile Home Service?
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and customer service.
- Ability to operate forklift and skid steer effectively.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills and ability to de-escalate irate customers.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift 75 to 100lbs periodically throughout your shift.
- Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
- Answer questions and address complaints.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
- Process product sales and returns.
- Learn about our products and provide accurate information about their features and pricing to our customers.
- Must have valid drivers license, will require to travel around Springfield and nearby towns occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
