What are the responsibilities and job description for the PreSchool Classroom Aide position at Springfield Montessori School?
Springfield is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals in the field of Early Childhood Education that are bright, and caring individuals who are present with the children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom setup and preparation.
- Provide support during mealtimes and classroom activities.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- Be a positive role model for young children.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- A love for early childhood development and a passion for creating a fun and educational environment.
- 12 Core ECE units required (may be presently enrolled).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
