Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Previous High School basketball coaching experience;
- Effective communication skills;
- Work schedule that allows for flexibility with practice and game schedules;
- NFHS/OSAA certified and First Aid certified;
- Willingness to work within the school and athletic guidelines;
- Ability to organize a complete basketball program grades 9-12;
- Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity.
- Fundraising knowledge and/or capabilities;
- Ability to be District Van Certified;
- Understanding of OSAA rules and regulations;
- Ability to work with parents and booster clubs.
