Schedule:
- We typically work ~34 hours per week with Fridays off.
- Our hours of operation are 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday and Wednesday, and 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, and Thursday.
We are looking for someone to be a full-time part of our team, but will consider regular part-time as well.
Responsibilities
- Place composite and amalgam restorations as directed, and adjust as necessary
- Perform all EFDA duties as permitted by the state of Ohio
- Assist chairside
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Take digital x-rays as directed by the supervising Dentist
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain strict HIPPA and OSHA standards
Skills
- Competency in all EFDA skills as licensed by the state of Ohio
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays; ability to learn new programs as necessary. Knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred
- Ortho and Invisalign knowledge is a plus
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support and education
License/Certification:
- EFDA License in Ohio
- Coronal polishing license (Preferred)
