Schedule:

• We typically work ~34 hours per week with Fridays off.
• Our hours of operation are 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday and Wednesday, and 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, and Thursday.

We are looking for someone to be a full-time part of our team, but will consider regular part-time as well.

Responsibilities

• Place composite and amalgam restorations as directed, and adjust as necessary
• Perform all EFDA duties as permitted by the state of Ohio
• Assist chairside
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Take digital x-rays as directed by the supervising Dentist
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Maintain strict HIPPA and OSHA standards

Skills

• Competency in all EFDA skills as licensed by the state of Ohio
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays; ability to learn new programs as necessary. Knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred
• Ortho and Invisalign knowledge is a plus
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support and education

License/Certification:

• EFDA License in Ohio
• Coronal polishing license (Preferred)
