Progressive Toolmaker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Progressive Toolmaker to join our dynamic team in Bristol, CT. • Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accurate and precise tooling designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain optimal production flow.
• Program CNC machines, including 3-4 axis VMCs, for efficient production runs.
• Employ CAD software to design and modify tooling and fixtures as needed.
• Apply shop math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications.
• Operate EDM machines (Wire) to achieve high-precision results.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Proven experience as a Toolmaker or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application in tooling design.
• Experience with CNC programming and operation, particularly with ProtoTRAK, Haas, and Bridgeport machines.
• Familiarity with CAD software for design and engineering purposes.
• Solid shop math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with EDM machines, specifically Agie Charmilles, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
