Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years successful experience with business or accounting functions preferred.
- Experience and a strong knowledge of fund accounting, budget preparation, forecasting, financial planning, auditing, purchasing, payroll, tax collection, state reporting and related school business operations preferred.
- Knowledge of computerized accounting and payroll software systems. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerschool eFinance and Cognos software preferred.
- Experience in supervising and evaluating staff preferred.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet challenging deadlines, problem solve and make independent judgements.
- Strong teamwork, analytical and supervisory skills are required.
Description:
The School District of Springfield Township, located in Montgomery County, PA serves approximately 2600 students in 4 schools. SDST is committed to diversity in our workplace and welcomes the opportunity to consider all candidates. The Assistant Business Administrator/Board Treasurer would be accountable for planning, organizing, supervising and evaluating all accounts payable, payroll, food service, revenue collections, tax collection, purchasing, state reporting and monthly board reports. This position would act as the Treasurer to the School District of Springfield Township School Board of Directors.

Terms of employment:
Full-time position to be determined in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SDST Administrative Compensation Plan. Position to begin March 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
