Role Overview:
As the Senior Vice President of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our national expansion. You will identify, secure, and manage high-value retail and national accounts while also overseeing our existing partnerships. This role requires a top-tier sales strategist—someone with intelligence, experience, and an unparalleled ability to build and sustain relationships at the highest levels of retail and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Execute Sales Strategy: Identify and pursue new national accounts, large retailers, and distribution channels to expand our market presence.
Account Management: Oversee and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong relationships and continued sales success.
Leadership & Growth: Build and lead a high-performance sales team as we scale.
Negotiations & Deals: Close high-value contracts with major retail chains, food distributors, and restaurant groups.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and performance metrics to optimize revenue growth.
Brand Representation: Act as a key spokesperson and ambassador for Springfield Trading Company at industry events, trade shows, and executive meetings.
Who You Are:
Proven Track Record: 10 years of experience in national retail sales, CPG, or food industry sales with a focus on major accounts.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to create and execute high-level sales strategies that drive exponential growth.
Relationship Builder: Strong executive-level relationships in the retail and foodservice industries.
Experienced Negotiator: Ability to close deals with national retailers, food distributors, and restaurant groups.
Leadership Skills: Experience leading and managing a high-performing sales team.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of retail, distribution, and foodservice channels.
