Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join our growing team in Canton, OH. In this role, you will work directly with patients to design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices. You will also conduct gait analysis, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop personalized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans.
- Conduct gait analysis and assess device functionality for optimal mobility.
- Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Educate patients on proper device use and rehabilitation techniques.
- Work closely with physicians, therapists, and insurance providers to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in prosthetics and orthotics.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in Prosthetics/Orthotics.
- Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics (OMP) required.
- Strong expertise in gait analysis, patient care, and device fabrication.
- In-depth knowledge of prosthetic and orthotic medical principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
