Preconstruction Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. This role requires Experience in Construction specifically in preconstruction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client relationships, project planning, estimating, and business development across Retail, Storage, Multi-Family, Warehouse & Distribution, Federal & Military, Hospitality, and Commercial projects ranging from $30M–$100M.
Key Responsibilities:Client & Designer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and design professionals to drive project success.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
Business Development & Marketing:
- Identify new project opportunities and provide updates to the Division Manager (DM) and Business Development team.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and presentations to secure new business.
- Engage in networking and professional organizations to promote the company’s presence.
Preconstruction & Estimating:
- Lead preconstruction efforts, including value engineering and problem-solving to optimize project costs.
- Utilize BuildingConnected and Onscreen Takeoff for estimating and bid management.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using Microsoft Excel and other industry-standard software.
Project & Team Leadership:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with independence and efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights and leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to align project goals with client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Construction as a Preconstruction Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline (Required). Experience managing projects in Retail, Storage, Multi-Family, Warehouse & Distribution, Federal & Military, Hospitality, and Commercial
sectors. Proficiency in Onscreen Takeoff, BuildingConnected, Excel, and Word. Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.What We Offer:
