Job Title: Telecommunications Technician (Security Systems)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Telecommunications Technician specializing in security systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems, as well as a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, fire alarms, and associated technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems and related infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of security equipment.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure installations meet specifications and codes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of installations, services, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and low-voltage wiring.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in security system technologies.
• Experience with network cabling, IP cameras, and integrated security systems.
• Background in residential and commercial environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.56 - $25.45 per hour
