Job Title: Tax Accountant

Key ResponsibilitiesTax Preparation
- Prepare and review individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage business tax filings for S-Corporations, Partnerships, and C-Corps using ProSeries software.
Accounting Support
- Assist with clients' year-end accounting, including making adjustments in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy.
Client Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert tax and accounting advice.
- Communicate complex tax issues effectively to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting required.
- CPA certification required (or actively pursuing).
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting, specializing in individual and small business tax filings.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop/Online and ProSeries tax software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and aspirations to grow within the accounting profession.
