VP of Sales – Digital Advertising
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 base salary commission ($100,000 - $200,000 estimated) stock options profit sharing
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced GVP of Sales to drive revenue growth through privacy-focused advertising solutions. This role requires a strategic and results-driven sales leader with a strong background in digital advertising and ad tech. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing deals with clients across industries that value privacy, including technology, finance, and crypto.
As GVP of Sales, you will manage a small team (2-4 direct reports) and work closely with internal teams to deliver impactful advertising solutions. You will report directly to the CEO, with significant opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Sales Strategies – Create and implement sales plans to drive revenue through privacy-focused advertising solutions.
- Identify and Prospect Clients – Target businesses that align with our privacy-first mission, including ad agencies, advertisers, and high-growth industries.
- Build and Maintain Relationships – Develop long-term partnerships, understanding client needs and recommending tailored advertising solutions.
- Market & Competitive Analysis – Research industry trends, demographics, and competitor strategies to optimize sales performance.
- Manage Full Sales Cycle – Own the process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring seamless execution.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams – Work with marketing, ad operations, and product teams to optimize campaign performance and client satisfaction.
- Enhance User Engagement – Provide insights on branding, gamification, and strategies to drive user interest and retention.
Qualifications
- Experience – Minimum 5 years in digital advertising sales, with a proven track record in business development and exceeding sales targets.
- Sales & Execution Skills – Strong ability to drive deals, problem-solve, and execute sales strategies effectively.
- Analytical Abilities – Ability to analyze client needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Communication & Presentation – Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage clients and stakeholders.
- Tech & Organizational Skills – Proficiency in spreadsheets, web tools, CRM platforms, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
