Hours Per Week: 40
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required .
Education Requirements:
- B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology ASCP certification required .
Job Requirements:
- Must possess knowledge of Chemistry and Special Chemistry using the regulatory guidelines established by OSHA, CLIA, FDA, NACCLS, and CAP.
- Must have four years as a medical technologist.
- Must have the manual dexterity necessary to perform capillary puncture and venipuncture for the collection of specimens, operate instrumentation, perform
manual and automated pipetting. - Must possess good verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and be able to communicate by email.
- Meets the CLIA standards for moderate and high complexity testing under 42 CFR 493.1433
- Possess knowledge levels and judgment capability for effective supervisory functions.
