Guest Engagement Champion Responsibilities:
This position aims to support the marketing initiatives of Springhill Suites Element Hotel, its restaurants, and other property outlets. It offers a fast-paced learning environment with direct oversight and influence over marketing actions. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of both digital and traditional marketing, with a particular emphasis on their application in the hospitality and food and beverage industries.

Guest Engagement Champion Job Duties:
- Develop a deep understanding of the brand voices of Marriott, Hotel Equities, and Lumen8, as well as their blended family of brands, to enhance brand awareness and ensure consistency with both internal and external audiences.
- Implement marketing and communications initiatives aligned with our marketing plan; contribute to preparing year-end marketing and communications plan and objectives.
- Design presentations, marketing collateral, advertisements, etc. that adhere to company brand standards and update information as needed to ensure marketing materials are relevant and up to date.
- Maintains the company website for accuracy and relevance.
- Assists in managing Springhill Suites and Element social media strategy i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google Business listing, and makes recommendations for how to enhance strategy.
- Consistent engagement with social media channels, including direct message and comment responses
- Uses media and communications to build, maintain, and manage the reputation of our clients aligned with our public relations strategy.
- Draft press releases, as needed, adhering to Hotel Equities’ and/or hotel franchisee’s brand standards.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize budgets vs. expenses to assist with managing department budget.
- Manages promotional materials by coordinating requirements; inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipts.
- Supports field Sales staff by becoming familiar with brand marketing guidelines knowledge, new product information, and market trends.
- Manages and maintains contact distribution lists for key stakeholders, critical to maximizing marketing/ communications efforts.
- Research competitive tools and do routine product comparisons by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, and pricing.
- Plan events such as hotel functions, meetings, tradeshows, and more.
- Office management skills, including shipping and inventory management, are required to help oversee the daily operations at the hotel.
- Taking ownership of accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value or enhance processes and deliverables.

- Photograph and document hotel and restaurant events and activations.

- Experience with design tool applications (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Experience analyzing marketing data and generating analysis reports.
- Advanced knowledge of social media.
- Ability to collaborate.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Qualification Standards of Education:
