Job Summary: Raines Co. is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Lead Cook to join our culinary team. As the Lead Cook, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating while ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety protocols. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you will also supervise kitchen staff, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to menu planning and development.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Food & Beverage Director in daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks as needed
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment maintenance and storage
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Communicate effectively with front of house staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with special events as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook or line cook in a restaurant or hotel environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Understanding of sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
