Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You’ll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the total sales effort of the hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Plans and implements ongoing target accounts to develop new business and acquire valuable contracts in efforts to generate new revenue.
- Maintains well-documented, accurate, organized customer profile database to serve clients in the most expedient, organized and knowledgeable manner.
- Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager.
- Schedules and completes sales appointments.
- Coordinates group, transient to maximize profits.
- Conducts a required amount of sales activities including telemarketing, cold calls, emailing, and prospecting.
- Creates creative marketing strategies for the hotel to boost revenue.
- Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data.
- Responsible for understanding rate management; evaluating good pieces of business and increasing rates to meet owner’s expectations.
- 24-hour response on all leads.
- Initiates and follows up on leads. Knowledgeable of the selling process and possess a proven track record.
- Develops and implements quarterly action plans for the university market.
- Completes requests of General Manager and other management personnel, as applicable.
- Assists in any other sales-related duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
