As part of our team, the Housekeeping Room Attendant responds and attends to guest requests. He/she is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting polishing, and ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to NPH standards.
Essential Functions:
Ensures all guest rooms meet standards of room/suite cleanliness, Maintains shelf organization in the storerooms, Replenishes storeroom supplies, Removes trash and dirty linens from rooms/suites, Reports maintenance problems or completing work repair orders, Spot cleaning walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years hotel housekeeping experience Must be at least 18 years of age
Advanced knowledge of cleaning products and practices
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Physical Demands: Highly physically demanding role. Frequent walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, stretching, bending, reaching, pulling and pushing. Requires use of both gross motor and fine motor skills, handles housecleaning chemicals.
