In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast area, ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry and possess excellent communication skills. *Duties* - Set up the breakfast area with food and beverage items, ensuring an appealing presentation. - Monitor food inventory levels and replenish items as necessary throughout the breakfast service. - Prepare and serve coffee, teas, and other beverages to guests. - Assist with meat cutting and food preparation as needed to support breakfast offerings. - Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces. - Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times. - Communicate effectively with guests to address any dietary needs or preferences. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering requests for special events when necessary. - Utilize Aloha POS system for tracking guest preferences or special requests. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred. - Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. - Experience in catering or kitchen operations is a plus. - Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required by the breakfast schedule.
