The Front Desk Associate is responsible for:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
- Provide exceptional service to all guests during check-in/check-out and during their stay to ensure that their experience exceeds our guest's expectations.
- Manages and Resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain guest privacy.
- Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
- Communicates with Housekeeping on a regular basis to notify housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.
- Uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
- Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
- Communicates clearly on the telephone.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the GM and AGM
- Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable and interact with guests in lobby
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures.
- Know how to clean guest rooms and hotel lobby to meet Marriott's standards.
- Clean back office area as requested by management.
- Open and close shift, make cash drops.
- Ensure all credit cards, cash and change funds are balanced throughout each shift.
- Inform management of any guests or systems related complaints or problems.
- Communicate with incoming staff and management by logging pertinent information in the pass on log.
- Keep maintenance informed of all maintenance needs.
- Pass on guest lost and found inquiries to management or Guest Room Supervisor.
- Must wear proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
- Performs ALL other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
