What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate position at SpringHill Suites?
Previous experience is preferred but not required for Front Desk Representative. However, some relevant previous customer service experience is valuable. Ideally, within the hotel industry, you must be familiar with the way hotels operate. However, any customer service experience is helpful, especially experience in satisfying guest requests and making visitors feel valued.
- High school diploma.
- Past experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Experience with accounting procedures and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Analytical mind, with strong attention to detail and an affinity for numbers.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive work ethic.
- Strong aptitude for customer service.
- Running night audit using property management system (PMS) software or manual methods in small hotels.
- Processing payments including room charges, debit and credit and cash.
- Processing wake-up call requests.
- Checking in and checking out guests.
- Answering guest queries and providing services as required.
- Monitoring hotel and reporting any accidents or incidents to the manager.
- Counting and securing the till at shift’s end.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
