Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate exceptional guest service skills. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our visitors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, making reservations, handling groups, and handling guest service request processes.
- Lead, train, and motivate front desk staff to provide outstanding guest services.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk area.
- Monitor room availability and assist with individual reservations and group reservations.
- Implement hotel policies and procedures to enhance guest relations.
- Stay updated on local attractions and services to provide guests with relevant information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management, preferably within a Marriott brand of hotels.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations and guest services.
- Experience with night audit processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge in FOSSE PMS is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
