Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating at optimal levels while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical systems, logic controllers, and electrical components.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems.
- Perform residential painting and other general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and schematics is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance staff or projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
