About the Role:
Our client, a growing healthcare organization specializing in recurring healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead financial operations and revenue cycle management (RCM). Based 100% onsite in Norman, OK, this role offers the chance to drive impactful financial strategies within a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee revenue cycle management processes, including patient payments, insurance claims, and denial management, with a focus on SoonerCare and Medicare.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash management to ensure financial stability.
- Optimize RCM operations by implementing metrics-driven improvements for claims processing, collections, and billing team performance.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), disbursements, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, HIPAA, and healthcare-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on cost-saving measures and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and develop a small accounting team, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in healthcare finance, with a focus on recurring healthcare services (hospitals/surgery centers not applicable).
- Expertise in revenue cycle management and compliance (experience with SoonerCare highly preferred).
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and operational metrics experience.
- Leadership skills with a proven track record of improving financial processes and managing teams.
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
