Sterile Technician

Here at Springs Dentistry, we are looking for a full-time Sterilization Technician to join our team! We’re committed to providing modern, conservative care to all our patients, while making them feel like they’re right at home. Our team makes our patients feel confident in their smiles while creating lasting, meaningful relationships along the way.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80919
Compensation: $18-20/hour
Schedule:

• Mondays Wednesdays: 7am-4pm
• Tuesdays: 11am-7pm
• Thursdays: 7am-3:30pm

Job responsibilities/duties:

• Preparing operatories for treatment
• Processing instruments for sterilization
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos when needed
• Accurately and efficiently treatment plan based on doctor’s diagnosis
• Scheduling patients
• Keep sterilization organized and clean
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Perform lab duties such as pouring models
• Administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and patient follow-up calls
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment
• Collaboration with team-members

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Radiology Certification required if needed
• Knowledge of dental patient management software such as Open Dental or Dentrix
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Adaptability
