SUMMARY
Reviews all Quality System related records and documentation, as well as material control records at Springs Fabrication, LLC, & maintains records on file. Supports manufacturing functions through fulfillment of on-demand requests and managing changes to job documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support the vision of the company.
- Control and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) related records and documents per established procedures.
- Review and control Material Test Reports.
- Review all records for completeness prior to storing.
- Perform internal auditing activities.
- Develop work instructions and procedures from regulatory material/manuals or other supplied documents.
- Support manufacturing functions through fulfillment of on demand requests for documentation and records.
- Prepare job documentation of released jobs per department-specific requirements, including the required inspection and traveler documentation, when necessary.
- Work in conjunction with all departments to implement, distribute, and control Engineering Change Notices/Specification Change Orders (ECN/SCOs).
- Other duties as required by the job or requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree or equivalent in training and experience. 2-5 years experience in Quality Assurance activities. Material Certification Data Sheet knowledge and experience are desired but not required. ISO 9001 documentation and knowledge required.
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Computer literacy to include knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing & verbally. Strong filing and typing skills. Internal auditing skills. Knowledge of ISO 9001.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and manuals, procedures, work instructions, and drawings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
