General Description
The Restaurant Supervisor assists the Restaurant Managers in overseeing the daily operations of the following restaurant and outdoor bars: Rix's Sports Bar, Laguna Bar, and Siestas Bar.
The Restaurant Supervisor supports, coaches, and directs the front-of-house team to meet and exceed standards and achieve daily goals. They ensure exceptional guest service, food and beverage quality, safety, and financial responsibility, addressing issues as needed. Additionally, they delegate tasks, maximize productivity, build strong relationships, and ensure compliance with food safety and occupational safety regulations.
In order to be successful, a Restaurant Supervisor must possess a thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations, business leadership and food safety regulations.
Work Duties
- Provide leadership support for the front-of-house team, which may include opening or closing shifts as well as leading daily front-of-house restaurant operations
- Assist in supporting, directing and coaching the front-of-house restaurant team
- Provide leadership guidance and assistance at the Point-of-Sale systems as needed
- Assist with guest satisfaction checks and provide guest recovery as needed
- Respond to and resolve guest issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure high standards of customer service are met at all times
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety within the restaurant are met
- Ensure food safety regulations and procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure all state and federal alcohol service guidelines are followed at all times
- Assist in the training and development of front-of-house team members
- Assist in the scheduling of the front-of-house team as necessary.
- Assist with coaching and counseling front-of-house team members as necessary
- Recognize team members for high achievement
- Delegate responsibilities to team members as appropriate
- Consistently communicate all necessary information to the restaurant team
- Work closely with all other leaders and team members and display good teamwork
- Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
- All other tasks as assigned
