What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaping/Maintenance position at Springs Motel?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a candidate to do landscaping and light maintenance at our 21 room boutique hotel and cabins in New Ashford. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment outside of the rooms on our 8.5 acre property for our guests.
Duties:
- Perform general landscaping tasks to maintain tidiness throughout the facility
- Use of small machines including weedeaters, leaf blowers and mowers
- Minor maintenance tasks including painting and furniture repair
- Pool maintenance and cleaning
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues to the general manager
- Willingness/ability to do additional customer service work at the front desk a plus and may allow for more total hours
Skills:
- Experience in hospitality, or related field
- Knowledge of custodial and industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
