JOB DESCRIPTION : LOAN PROCESSOR I
DEPARTMENT : Loan
CLASSIFICATION : Non - Exempt
REPORTS TO : Loan Operations Manager
SUPERVISES : No supervisory responsibility
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the processing and administration of loans in one or more of the following areas : consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.
MAJOR DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILIIES :
- Responsible for input and audit of consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.
- Provides administrative assistance to the lenders and staff, including processing loan payments, inputting and updating loan data in the system, and maintaining loan records and files (paper and electronic).
- Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation. Ensures that loan files contain documents and with proper signature, dates and other relevant data.
- Performs clerical duties as related to working ticklers and maintaining departmental records.
- Answers customer questions and resolves routine problems with inquires regarding payoffs, changes of owner, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other loan details.
- Balances Assigned General Ledgers
- Processes Escrow which may include Home-Owner's Insurance, PMI, Property Taxes, and Home Owner's Association Dues
- Works through Escrow Analysis
- Provides input on QM procedures, updates as directed by loan operations manager.
- Actively achieves individual sales, referral, operational, and community involvement goals.
- Scans and Images documentation within Director
- Performs other duties as assigned.
