Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled occupational therapist to join our team at Springs Village Care Center. As an occupational therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their maximum functional potential.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering diagnostic evaluations and treatments to assigned patients. This includes providing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Additionally, the occupational therapist will design and administer treatment programs to increase patients' levels of functioning, instruct patients in adapted techniques and the use of adaptive equipment for meal preparation, home management, dressing, feeding, and other self-care skills.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association. Strong supervisory and leadership skills, as well as excellent customer service orientation, are also required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is necessary.
