This is an onsite role, relote work is not an option

The Product Configuration Team - We help turn tangible products into electronic masterpieces

Working directly with business leaders we ensure thousands of dealers and some of the largest retailers in the world can order products from Springs Window Fashions in a way that is easy, accurate, and efficient. 

We also ensure multiple manufacturing facilities have everything needed to manufacture those products in an accurate and timely manner.  Or, to put it more simply, make sure that all our systems know that red doesn’t equal blue.

Our team collects and documents requirements and uses these requirements to design, configure, and test projects related to product ordering, option validation, order accuracy, and manufacturing. We troubleshoot issues, meet with business users and track metrics regularly to verify solutions.

Job Summary

The Product Configuration Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating and executing programs to make doing business with Springs Window Fashions easy and efficient through configuration of electronic product information. This role will support our customers as well as internal staff in multiple areas, including customer service, engineering, product management, operations, and IT. 

Responsibilities

• Document business/customer requirements and develop functional and technical specifications/designs.
• Translate Business Requirements and designs into technical solutions. This includes the ability to understand and build complex if/then product logic scenarios
• Ability to lead the implementation of product additions and changes across a cross functional team, including ability to delegate implementation tasks to multiple team members
• Perform unit and regression testing for product configuration processes, for both internal and third-party solutions
• Work with business partners on an ongoing basis to ensure solutions are meeting business and customer requirements.
• Work with external customers to gather system/business requirements specific to configurable products
• Map external product specifications to ERP product options for order fulfillment
• Manage product data extracts, both automated and manually documented, to be available for third party configuration partners
• Ongoing responsibility of production support of the product configuration process and solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Analyze, track, and remediate root causes of defects.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related business field required
• 2 of Business Analysis experience with a configured products emphasis

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong Business Process experience
• Knowledge and experience with requirement specifications to define scope and system boundaries, recommend alternative methods to achieve complex system requirements and estimate resource implications of requirements at a high level
• Process improvement mindset
• Accountable for delivering quality work while meeting project deadlines
• Ability to translate business requirements into process and technical specifications
• Ability to understand and implement Boolean (If/Then) logic into electronic ERP catalogs
• Experience working with large/complex datasets and the ability to map multiple datasets to each other while ensuring data integrity
• Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
• Experience using Microsoft SQL, including use of views, stored procedures, and basic SQL queries
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including building formulas and pivot tables
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Up to 5% travel may be required
