Springs Window Fashions is hiring for a Senior Network Engineer on the corporate IT Team.
This role is based in our Middleton, WI corporate headquarters. Fully remote is not an option.

Job Summary
This senior position is primarily responsible for daily operations, installation and maintenance of the corporate network. Additionally, this position will plan, design, analyze/monitor and provide technical support for all related network components.
Job Requirements
- This position coordinates and supports telecommunications installations.
- Design, architect, configure, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco Enterprise networking solutions.
- Responsibility for hardware maintenance and replacement strategies.
- Network application support for client/server applications.
- Monitor enterprise network hardware systems to ensure that each is performing per approved standards.
- Identifies and corrects faults and provides resolution of complex problem tickets escalated from service desk.
- Research, evaluate and recommend the selection of network-related tools and emerging technologies.
- Work with vendors to resolve complex network problems.
- Manage load balancing (DNS / DHCP / IP).
- Provide remote access solution environment (VPN, Terminal Services)
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Network documentation and log/compliance review.
- Partner with security team to ensure network security is maintained
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
- B.S. degree related to Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- Must have 7 years of experience with Cisco Route/Switch.
Required Skills
- Network Certification: CCNP
- Linux and open-source administration
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
- A customer-oriented attitude.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols.
- Expert knowledge of the following routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP with focus on MPLS and redundant Internet load balancing.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco FMC and 5500 ASA firewalls
- Fortinet firewalls and SDWAN
- Excellent working knowledge of Cisco IOS, IO-XE, and NX-OS.
- Detailed knowledge of layer 2 networking, including STP, VLANs, VPC, and port channel/EtherChannel technology.
- Detailed knowledge of layer 3 networking, including dynamic routing protocols and HSRP/VRRP/GLBP/SVI
- Cisco security infrastructure – ISE and Umbrella
- Significant field experience working with Cisco wireless products and Radius
- Citrix ADC Netscaler load balancing and content switching
- Strong Active Directory administration skills.
