What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector position at Springseal Inc.?
SpringSeal, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for conducting quality inspections, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures.
This position is for second shift at SpringSeal, Inc. This is a 10 hour shift running Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 3:00am.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complies with all safety policies and procedures including Personal Protective Equipment and Health Protocol.
- Inspect product using calipers, tape measures and other tools to ensure product conforms to customer requirements.
- Immediately identify and label non-conforming product and materials.
- Clearly communicate nonconformance’s via email.
- Maintain daily housekeeping in and around the Quality Lab area
- File and maintain sample retains.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.
Required Knowledge and Skill Sets:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide feedback, in a neutral manner, in the event of a non-conformance.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal guidance as well within a team setting.
- Ability to navigate a computer network to locate and print documents.
- Ability to use an email system.
- Ability to read and interpret quality documents and engineering drawings.
- Ability to accurately add and subtract decimal numbers using a calculator.
- Ability to read rulers and tape measures.
