Job Description:

The Thermoforming Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and production of customer orders and for meeting the specifications for quality and efficiency. This person assures that the Thermoforming Machine is operating properly and must follow company procedures for safety and provide accurate and timely reporting on production.

This is a position which will require you to be on your feet and utilizing your time wisely. Operators must be able to lift up to 40lbs, work independently in a warm environment. This is a physical job.

This position also requires the operator to operate a CNC trimming machine while producing parts on the thermoformer.

JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for operation of the Thermoforming Machine while following safety protocols in the work area.
• Responsible for operating (not programming) CNC trimming machine while producing parts on the Thermoforming machine.
• Produce a variety of plastic formed parts by loading raw material, setting and adjusting cycle times, temperatures and pressures and cycle the machine to ensure safe operations.
• Produce customer parts to order in the proper quantity as outlined in the production schedule.
• Assures that all manufacturing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Position Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED
• 2-3 years of thermoform production in a manufacturing environment
• Basic shop mathmatics, ability to read shop drawings, and use of a variety of different shop instruments.
• Must have ability to clearly communicate.
• Tow motor experience is helpful.
• Must be able to stand and work for 8 hours and be able to lift up to 40lbs.
