What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Technician position at Springseal Inc.?
SpringSeal,Inc. - a leader in plastic sealing systems- is looking for a Tool and Die Technician to organize and stage die systems for extrusion.
This person is responsible for the following:
- Organization of the tooling for profile extrusion lines
- Staging die carts for the setup of an extrusion line by the operator.
- Assist in the troubleshooting of existing tooling and secondary downstream equipment.
- Works with the head of tooling to perform modifications and alterations on existing tooling as well as new tooling equipment to meet production requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent.
- Must be able to utilize hand tools and some cleaning equipment.
- Good communication skills
- Must have a strong work ethic and be able to perform the duties of the job while under pressure of meeting deadlines.
Experience:
- Tool and Die experience is a plus.
- CAD experience is a plus.
- Ability to weld with any media is a plus.
